remove double underlined green advertising links

by admin on August 5, 2012

To remove the annoying,  irritating, nauseating,  intrusive, repulsive, aggravating  double underlined green advertising links from Google Chrome. Go to tools -> settings select extensions. Disable all the extensions then enable them one by one,  while testing until you identify which extension is responsible for this awfully awful behaviour.

On identifying the culprit please use all methods at your disposal to annihilate, obliterate and destroy this pain in the etc

or simply delete it

thank you

Thank you so so much.
I apparently had gotten a “Browse2save” add-on which I swear I have NEVER requested. It’s over now – it’s done. Thank you for relieving me of this pain in the *ss.

In Internet options – Advanced – un-tick “Allow 3rd party browser extensions” sorted it out. I don’t get any pop-ups now. When trying to send an email I was asked if I wanted to allow pop-ups for this site. I chose yes forever. And I was able to continue. I assume it is going to ask me every time, but it sorted all unwanted ads out

Yeah, this works – thanks. But after a while it comes back again. Any advice on permanently blocking this??

most likely its one of your plugin or add-on. it could be having a delayed trigger so that you are unable to pin point it quickly
